silvermanJackie Arcana is the owner of Xcell Performance Group. She is a Level II USA Triathlon coach, a Level III USA Cycling coach and an ACE Certified Personal Trainer. Jackie is also a USA Triathlon All American and the winner of first overall female from Nevada at the Silverman full distance triathlon in 2009 and 2007.

Jackie has completed over 100 races including 5 marathons and 5 Ironman distance races and over 20 Half Iron distances races.  Additionally, Jackie qualified and ran the Boston Marathon.  The real miracle for Jackie is not that she completed any of these events but that she started.  After nearly drowning in the Atlantic Ocean as a child Jackie had to overcome immense fear of the water before even attempting to learn the actual swim stroke.  Her background was not in competitive sports.  She began training after having two children.  Managing her own business while raising two boys as a single parent has made balance a priority for Jackie.  Missing her child's soccer practice in order to train just was not the way she wanted to do it.  Being the kind of person who seeks high achievement can be tricky when trying to achieve multiple goals.

biking coachJackie understands that and strives to help athletes set high goals, learn new skills and keep sanity in their lives.  Her biggest satisfaction comes from helping individuals achieve the kind of success and balance they didn't know was possible.  Additionally, building a strong community of like minded supportive people all striving for healtier lifestyles is a big part of what Jackie is creating.  Through Xcell group classes, events and workshops, local athletes have a safe place to get fit with other like minded people.  After all, it should be fun!
